Balcke contracts to design and supply the “Cold End” of steam processes in power and chemical plants, which includes condenser, cooling water pumps, piping and cooling tower. Balcke acquires a stake in the pump factory “Bettinger und Balcke”. |

Balcke acquires Propper, an Austrian cooling company and establishes offices in Vienna, Austria and St. Peterburg, Russia. |

Balcke establishes offices in Berlin, Paris and London. |
